By accessing or using AuthorOS (“the Service”), operated by Broadvale AI (UDYAM-KR-03-0559884) (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.

AuthorOS is an AI-assisted publishing platform that helps users create books and related media. The Service provides tools for outlining, writing, editing, design, and export. Content is generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence and should be reviewed by the user before publication.

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

You retain ownership of all input you provide to the Service (your ideas, notes, outlines, and source materials). Subject to the rights granted herein, you own the output generated by the Service from your input (“Generated Content”).

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your input and Generated Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. We will not publish, sell, or distribute your content without your consent.

Content generated by the Service is produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence. While we strive for quality, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unintended similarities to existing works. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all Generated Content before publication or distribution.

We do not guarantee that Generated Content is free from factual errors, copyright issues, or other legal concerns. You assume full responsibility for the use and publication of Generated Content.

Certain features of the Service require payment. All prices are listed on our website and are subject to change with reasonable notice. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. By making a purchase, you agree to the payment terms presented at the time of purchase.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on Publishing Pass purchases. To request a refund, email [email protected] within 30 days of purchase. After a refund, your account reverts to the free Discovery tier. See our FAQ for more details.

To ensure a quality experience for all users, both free and paid plans are subject to fair usage limits.

Plan limits:

• Free (Discovery): 1 chapter, cover art concept (up to 30 generations), no interior illustrations.
• Publishing Pass: Unlimited chapters (up to 400 pages), 50 interior illustrations, cover art (up to 30 generations), unlimited revisions per stage.

Generation limits (all plans):

• Each book has a generous generation allowance designed to cover a complete book with revisions. If the limit is reached, further generation for that book is paused. Contact support if you need an exception.
• Chat assistant: subject to daily message limits to ensure quality responses.

We reserve the right to adjust these limits at any time to prevent abuse or ensure platform stability. Material changes to limits will be communicated with reasonable notice.

You may not use the Service to generate, store, or distribute content that:

• Promotes violence, terrorism, or physical harm against any individual or group.
• Contains hate speech or discriminates against individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• Is sexually explicit or exploitative, particularly involving minors.
• Infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others.
• Is defamatory, fraudulent, or intentionally misleading.
• Impersonates another person or entity without authorization.
• Violates any applicable law or regulation.

You may not:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or intimidate others.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, access controls, or security measures.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other unauthorized tools to access the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent.
• Use the Service to generate bulk content for spam, SEO manipulation, or similar purposes.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.

You are responsible for all content generated through your account. AI-generated content should be reviewed for accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with applicable laws before publication. We may investigate potential violations and take action including warnings, suspension, or account termination.

You own complete intellectual property rights to all content generated through your use of the Service, including manuscripts, outlines, cover art, and any other output. We claim no ownership, license, or rights over your generated content.

The Service itself, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by Broadvale AI and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any reason with reasonable notice. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
